John Saw The Ark Of The Covenant In Heaven!

Just before the judgments were poured out in Revelation, John saw the ark of the covenant containing the Ten Commandments in heaven…why?

Jesus was showing John that the judgments being poured out on first-century Israel were because of thier violations to the old covenant of law.

These judgments were from AD 66 - AD 70 and do not await a future fulfillment.

Heaven is no longer pouring out old covenant judgments on the earth, resulting in mourning, weeping, and death.

That was the old heaven and earth.

Heaven is now pouring out new covenant grace on the earth, resulting in forgiveness, righteousness, and eternal life for those who believe.

This is the new heaven and earth.
