THE BOOK OF REVELATION

For many people, the events of Revelation are puzzling and frightening, understandably so. The imagery presents strange characters such as an enormous red dragon and locusts with the power of scorpions. The apocalyptic scenes have stars falling from the sky and rivers and streams filled with blood. There are seals opened, trumpets blown, and bowls of wrath poured out on Mystery Babylon, the great prostitute.

This is confusing and scary...causing many people to believe Revelation cannot be understood.

However, at this conference, Brad carefully explains the unfolding scenes and clearly identifies the characters. At the end of the conference, the attender will possess a greater understanding of Revelation.

At this conference:

• Brad presents the biblical background necessary for understanding Revelation and describes how the judgments contained in the seals and trumpets point to first-century, old covenant Israel who rejected Jesus as the Christ and persecuted those who believed in him.

• Brad explains how Satan united unbelieving Israel and the Roman Empire against first-century believers for the purpose of eradicating the gospel, resulting in the outpouring of the bowls of wrath.

• Brad examines the sea and land beasts, the mark of the beast, Babylon the Great, Armageddon, the woman sitting on the beast, the ten kings, the great white throne judgment, the lake of fire, and many other images and events contained in Revelation.

• Brad shows how old covenant heaven and earth based on the law of Moses has passed away, and how new covenant heaven and earth based on the grace of Jesus has come.

Brad has not always held a first-century fulfillment of Revelation. For 40 years, he held to a future fulfillment. This future fulfillment was strengthened when he was a student at Dallas Theological Seminary. However, after much study, Brad now holds a fulfilled view of Revelation. At this conference, he will present the biblical evidence that led him to a fulfilled view.

Johnson City is a very short drive to the Great Smoky Mountains where you can access the Blue Ridge Parkway and take in the stunning scenery of the mountains and colorful leaves.
