Is The Antichrist Alive Today?

Many believers are taught The Antichrist is alive and well right now.

The problem with this teaching is the Bible never mentions The Antichrist that would come in our time.

1 John 2:18-25 mentions the antichrist and antichrists in the time of John- which was the last hour before judgment on Jerusalem in the first century.

The antichrist mentioned by John could be the man of lawlessness written about by Paul and spoken about Jesus…the one committing abomination in the temple - CLICK HERE.

Anitichrist and antichrists refer to those in John’s day who were opposed to Jesus as the Christ.

They are much like the Pharisees, teachers of the law, and leaders of Israel who opposed Jesus.

Interestingly, John uses the same words to identify the antichrists of his day as Jesus did when talking to those in Israel who opposed Jesus.

Both Jesus and John called them liars, saying they were in the dark and the truth is not in them.

Biblically speaking, there is no The Antichrist for our time, but there are many antichrists still today.
