Have You Been Taught About The Jewish-Roman War?
One of the most significant events needing to be understood to understand the Bible is the Jewish-Roman War from AD 66-70.
In this war, the Roman armies methodically and violently marched through the cities of old covenant, unbelieving Israel in carrying out God's wrath because of Israel's violations of the covenant and persecution of believers.
Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed in this war.
Millions were killed.
Thousands of Jews were taken captive and sold to the nations of the Roman Empire.
Jesus spoke about this war in Luke 19:41-44, Luke 21:20-24, and Luke 23:26-30, Matthew 22:1-14, Matthew 24, and Mark 13.
Unfortunately, most pastors, ministry leaders, and Bible teachers are unfamiliar with the war.
They have never been taught the significance of this war and its relationship to understanding the Bible.
Consequently, most believers are unfamiliar with this war, and, therefore, do not have a firm understanding of the Bible.
When believers are taught about the Jewish-Roman War and its relationship to the Bible, they begin to understand the Bible more fully.
