Who Can Always Be Justified? (Romans 5:1-2)

Justified is the state of being completely right with God...always.

Justified is never being guilty before God.

Justified is always being innocent before God.

Justified is never being out of fellowship with God.

Justified is always being in right relationship with God.

Justification is never being condemned by God because of our sins.

Justified is always being at peace with God even though we still sin, though our heart is to not sin.

Justified is never being sinful before God.

Justified is always being sinless before God.

Justified is never being far away from God.

Justified is always being close to God.

Who can always be justified?

No one.

Honestly, no one can ever be justified through their own efforts...

...not even for one second.

We can't gain or maintain justification.

Not ever.

There is only one way to be always justified...

...by grace through faith in Jesus.

Grace is the kindness of Jesus toward each of us when he took all of our sins upon himself on the cross.

Grace is the kindness of Jesus toward each of us when he took everything we have ever done wrong upon himself at the cross.

Grace is the gift of forgiveness, righteousness, and eternal life freely offered to us.

Grace is received through faith in Jesus.

It is Jesus who has justified us.

He eternally justified us.

We do not try and justify ourselves.

It can't be done.

Justification is not our good behavior, commitment, devotion, discipline, or dedication plus faith in Jesus.

Justification is not grace plus good works.

Our justification is Jesus.

It is he who has justified us.

Rest in the assurance and peace that you have been justified by grace through faith.

Romans 5:1-2

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.
