Revelation Being Fulfilled Is Difficult To Accept
I know the teaching of Revelation having already occurred is difficult to accept.
We have been taught for most of our lives to look for the return of Jesus, the rapture, the second coming, Armageddon, the great tribulation, the mark of the beast, and the list goes on.
However, the Book of Revelation is not about the future.
It is about permanently ending the old covenant age of law, leaving the new covenant eternal age of grace as the only way God relates to us.
This happened when Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed in AD 70.
Once you see this, Revelation makes complete sense.
A future view of Revelation contains awful, terrible times for the people of Israel, its land, and cities, including the city of Jerusalem.
The modern-day church doesn't fear this time because they think they will be raptured out of it.
However, when we study the Bible in its historical context, paying attention to who is speaking, writing, reading, and listening, we see that the Book of Revelation was fulfilled in AD 70 when Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed.
What does this mean for modern-day Israel and the church today?
The good news is that two-thirds of people in Israel will not die in a future wrath.
The church today is the new Jerusalem, the Bride of Christ, offering all people in all nations, including Israel, the free gift of the water of life...the new covenant gospel of grace.
For over 40 years, I held a future view of Revelation.
I attended the premiere seminary that taught it.
But after studying the Bible, following the method of Observation, Interpretation, then Application, for the first time Revelation became clear.
Since this time, my excitement for the gospel of grace has increased.
My passion is to help people see how Revelation directly connects to the ending of the old covenant age of law and the full eternal age of the new covenant of grace.
I have written two books on Revelation, showing people directly from the Bible how Revelation has been fulfilled.
Volume 1: God's Judgment on First-Century Israel.
Volume 2: The War On The Saints.
I am currently writing my final book in the series.
Volume 3: The New Heaven and New Earth will be out in the Winter.
