Reaching People Before They Are Radicalized

Often an act of violence is committed by one person.

However, this one person is often radicalized by another person or a group of people for evil purposes.

The radicalization of this one person has devastating affects on thousands, if not millions of people.

What if this one person who committed an act of violence was reached by another person or another group of people for good purposes before being radicalized by those with evil purposes?

This, too, would affect thousands, if not millions.

It may keep this one person from committing one act of violence with devastating consequences.

This one person being reached would not make the headlines (and that is good), but it would make a difference...

...a BIG difference.

Jesus understood the value of reaching one person and the impact reaching one would have on thousands...millions.

Jesus reached...

...the woman at the well

...the woman caught in adultery

...the woman in the Pharisees' house

...the blind man

...Zacchaeus

...Lazarus

...Mary Magdalene

...Nicodemus

...the Centurion

...Jairus

...the widow of Nain's son.

These are the individuals we know about.

There are countless others to be sure.

Like Jesus, we can reach individual people, resulting in a changed life leading to good things and preventing evil things.

Many of you already have.

Thank you.

It didn't make the headlines...but it made a difference...a BIG difference.

As we go though the daily routine of life, we never know who we may encounter and how that encounter may change the person's life...and thousands and millions of others' lives.

If we continue to reach one person at a time before they are radicalized, we can change the lives of thousands...millions, and no one will know about it because it did not make the headlines.

And that is a good thing.
