Conversations Jesus Had That Changed People's Lives
We never know when conversations we have may change people's lives.
That's how it was for Jesus and those with whom he had conversations.
Jesus' conversation with Nicodemus changed his life.
Jesus' conversation with the woman at the well changed her life.
Jesus' conversation with Zacchaeus changed his life.
These conversations not only resulted in the changed lives of those with whom Jesus talked, but they also changed the lives of those with whom Nicodemus, the woman at the well, and Zacchaeus talked.
That's the ripple effect of one conversation with one person.
We may never know the reach of the ripple effect of one conversation we have with one person.
But that one conversation has the potential to change the lives of many people.
Even if the conversation does not go beyond the one person, for that one person the conversation was life-changing.
Thanks for having these conversations.
Colossians 4:4-6
Be wise in the way you act toward outsiders [those who do not know Christ]; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer [talk with] everyone.
Proverbs 16:24
Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
Ephesians 4:29
Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen.
