Many Who Wander Are Lost
I consistently see a bumper sticker that reads…
…Not all who wander are lost.
That’s true.
There are many people who enjoying wandering through book stores - me!
Others enjoy wandering through garage sales and flee markets (not me!), small towns and big cities (me!).
They are not lost.
However, there are many wandering through life with no purpose…no meaning…no hope.
They are lost.
My prayer for them is they wander into Jesus…
…the one who loves them and gave his life for them to forgive their sins…
…the one who took upon himself their guilt to give them his innocence…
…the one who took upon himself their unrighteousness to give them his righteousness…
…the one who rose from the dead to give them eternal life…
…the one in whom is found purpose, meaning, and hope.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost.
Zacchaeus was wealthy financially…but he knew he was lost.
He accepted Jesus.
The woman at the well failed relationally…and she knew she was lost.
She accepted Jesus.
The Pharisees and teachers of the law failed spiritually and morally, though they thought they succeeded.
They did not know they were lost.
They rejected Jesus.
Maybe you are lost, and you know it.
Jesus came to seek and save the lost.
If you would like to accept Jesus, below is a simple prayer to follow.
Jesus, I know am I lost.
I know I have failed.
You came to seek people like me.
Today, I accept you into my life.
I believe you lived, died, and rose from the dead to forgive my sins, make me innocent, and give me eternal life.
