Has Revelation Been Fulfilled? Another BIG REASON I Am Convinced It Has!

Jesus used the word "woe" to pronounce judgment on the people and the cities of Israel (Matthew 11:21; Mark 13:17 - NKJV; Luke 10:13-14).

Jesus also used the word "woe" seven times to pronounce judgment on the leaders of Israel and the city of Jerusalem (Matthew 23:1-38).

"Woe" is directly connected to the judgments on the nation of Israel for their violations of the old covenant of law (Isaiah 1:4; 3:9-11; Jeremiah 4:13; Lamentations 5:16; Ezekiel 2:10).

The old covenant, judgmental woes of the law Jesus pronounced were fulfilled in Revelation in the first century when judgment came upon the land, people, and cities of Israel.

These woeful judgments included the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple.

The word "woe" is used fourteen times in Revelation as this judgment was carried out (Revelation 8:13; 9:12; 11:14; 12:12; 18:10, 16, 19).

Jerusalem is the great city (Revelation 11:8 - mystery Babylon, the prostitute) who turned away from God and committed adultery with the nations of the Roman Empire (Revelation 17:1-2; 18:2-3).

The woes of Jesus and Revelation were fulfilled when Jerusalem and the temple were destroyed by the armies of the Roman Empire and the nations.

This judgment completed the woes of the old covenant law, and therefore, for this BIG REASON, I am convinced Revelation has been fulfilled.
