Revelation Volume 2: War On The Saints - Overview

At the conclusion of Revelation Volume 1: Judgment On First-Century Israel, Satan began to wage war against first-century believers.

Joining him in this war were unbelieving, Christ-rejecting Israel and the Roman Empire.

This unholy alliance united to remove believers from the land of Israel and the Roman Empire and to eradicate the gospel of God’s grace.

Their strategy was to kill believers who did not renounce their belief in Jesus, worship the image of the beast, and receive the mark of the beast.

Consequently, many believers died throughout the land of Israel and the Roman Empire.

Satan, unbelieving Israel, and the Roman Empire thought by killing believers they could permanently stop the spread of the good news about Jesus and the message of grace.

However, God reserved 144,000 believers who could not be put to death.

They communicated the message of Jesus and God’s grace throughout the land of Israel and the Roman empire.

As a result, many people placed their faith in Jesus.

In a twist of irony, another war developed...the Jewish-Roman War.

In this war, Rome turned against Israel, eventually destroying Jerusalem and the temple.

Revelation Volume 2: War On The Saints, examines both wars.

Also examined are:

-the sea and land beasts

- the mark of the beast

- Babylon the Great

- Armageddon

- the woman sitting on the beast

- the ten kings

- the great white throne judgment

- the lake of fire

and many other images and events contained in Revelation 13-20.
