Is The Attack On Iran A Sign To Watch For Concerning Jesus Coming On The Clouds To Judge Old-Covenant Israel?

Jesus told the leaders of first-century, old covenant Jerusalem they would see him coming on the clouds in judgment upon them (Matthew 26:64).

“But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”

According to Jesus, the believers of that time were to watch for signs that would precede his coming in judgment upon unbelieving Israel that would result in the destruction of Jerusalem and the temple.

See Matthew 23-24, Mark 13, and Luke 21.

The judgment occurred from AD 66-70, placing the signs before AD 66.

So no…the attack on Iran is not a sign of Jesus coming on the clouds to judge old covenant Israel.

The signs are not on our TV’s, Computers, or Cell Phones.

They are not in our headlines.

They are not in our future.

They are in our past.
