Does God Have A Covenant With The United States of America?

If you hear that God is either judging the USA with COVID 19 (or some other tragedy, storm, etc..) or is about to judge the USA, unless Christians humble themselves, repent, and turn from their wicked ways so God will forgive our sins and heal our land, don’t be afraid or alarmed.

Those proclaiming this message are placing the church under the yoke of the Law of Moses, the old covenant, which the people of Israel never obeyed.

It is the same thing leaders in the early church tried to do.

Those who did this were called Judaizers.

God didn’t make a covenant with the USA or any other modern nation.

God only made one covenant with one nation, and that was in 1447 BC.

Israel broke the covenant.

God ended the covenant.

That covenant has now been replaced by the new covenant, established in the blood of Jesus, that was around AD 33.

God made this covenant with Jesus, and Jesus signed it in his blood.

It is a covenant made by Jesus for the world.

In this covenant, Jesus died for the sins of the world.

In this covenant, God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting our sins against us.

The message for the world during this time of grace is to tell people the good news of grace freely given to them in Jesus.

We need to teach believers about the riches of grace, God’s complete forgiveness, and Jesus’ love for them and life in them, rather than scare them with judgment upon their nation unless they repent.

God is not about to judge the USA.

Our sins were judged at the cross.

The sins of the citizens of the USA and the citizens of all the nations of the world were placed upon Jesus at the cross.

God is now proclaiming this good news to the world.

So don’t live in fear of “God’s coming judgement on the USA.”

Take joy that your sins and the sins of the world were placed upon Jesus.

You are loved by God.

Forgiveness is received through faith in Jesus.

Hearts are healed by his grace.

Families are healed by his grace.

Neighborhoods are healed by his grace.

God loves you and wants a relationship with you.

Through faith in Jesus, you can begin this relationship with God.

If you have not placed your faith in Jesus, would you do that today?

Now is the day of salvation.
